Survivors of Sexual Assault Group
Who: Women, 18-25 years old (Victims of sexual assault)
Where: Crisis Services (2969 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14214)
When: Wednesdays from 3 PM - 4 PM for 8 weeks (Group to begin early 2016)
The purpose of this group is to provide support for adult survivors of sexual assault and rape. Survivors will be provided with an atmosphere that helps them to gain further knowledge and understanding about sexual assault and how it has affected their lives. In addition, this group will create an empowering environment where participants can learn new coping skills and identify personal goals.
***Participants must be actively linked with a therapist. A referral must come from a therapist to be considered for this group.
